A rising WWE talent has stated she and another star have ‘lost respect’ for current Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.
Following the events of the August 8 edition of NXT which saw Dominik Mysterio retain his North American Championship against Dragon Lee due to outside interference from Rhea Ripley, Lyra Valkyria stormed the ring to stand up to Ripley.
Now, ahead of this week’s NXT (August 15), Ripley sent a message to Valkyria and Lee on Twitter, saying they had disrespected both her and ‘Dirty’ Dom with their actions and promised a retaliation.
While this would come later as an official challenge for a mixed tag match for Ripley and Dom against Valkyria and Lee at August 22’s NXT Heatwave, before that, Lyra Valkyria would answer to Ripley’s claim of ‘disrespect’, saying that Ripley had lost the respect of herself and Lee.
Valkyria said via tweeted:
You LOST our respect… Well… I mean Dom never had it but anyway you still have my attention
Following the match between the two teams being made official for Heatwave, both Valkyria and Ripley would engage in another war of words over social media, stoking the flames for the anticipated match.
