Future WWE Main Roster Call Up Reveals Benefit Of Being In NXT WWE

With two Royal Rumble appearances and a WWE Raw match under her belt, Roxanne Perez has spoken about the benefit of being in NXT.

Perez made her second WWE Royal Rumble appearance in the titular women’s match on January 27, 2024, and would compete against Indi Hartwell on the Raw After WrestleMania 40.

In a recent interview with Adrian Hernandez, she revealed her thoughts on being in NXT, saying:

“It’s [being in NXT] been fun. So, so fun. I think that’s one of the things that I struggled with when I got signed to NXT, is like… I feel like I have the wrestling down, but I think I didn’t have too much time to work on my character or develop that.

“So being in NXT, and being able to work on that. And being alongside like learning from Shawn Michaels, the greatest of all time. Coach Bloom… All of them. It’s so freaking awesome and exciting. And I’m having a lot of fun.”

She would also share her thoughts on her second Royal Rumble appearance, revealing:

“I didn’t expect the second call. I didn’t expect the first call, but to be called again and I’m not even a part of the main roster yet, I think that was so freaking cool and just like… Full circle moment.”

With the 2024 WWE Draft taking place on April 26 and 29, Perez has recently entered herself into the draft.

The NXT Women’s Champion has promised to take the title with her to either WWE Raw or SmackDown.

Looking ahead, she revealed that her dream opponents would be Becky Lynch and AJ Lee, although, as Perez notes, the latter isn’t part of the WWE roster.
