WWE Star Reveals Invaluable Advice From Paul Heyman WWE

A WWE star has revealed the invaluable advice that he received from Paul Heyman that he still uses to this day.

Santos Escobar made the revelation on the recent Out of Character, in which he also discussed Triple H’s initial rejection of his LWO revival.

The Legado Del Fantasma member was discussing the etiquette of image changes, revealing that Triple H had denied him permission to shave or trim his beard.

While discussing this, he would also comment on his exchange with Paul Heyman, revealing the reasoning behind seeking Levesque’s approval.

During the conversation with Satin, the topic turned to Heyman, with Escobar saying:

“He gave me the best advice someone ever gave me.”

Mimicking Heyman’s speech pattern, though not his voice, Escobar went on to say:

“‘If you have a question, go and ask Paul Levesque. Because if you don’t ask him, whatever you’re thinking is wrong, you’re to blame.

“But if you’re a true professional, and you have a question, you go and ask him. Trust me, it’s worse if you don’t ask.’

“And that just created a new reality in my head, because it’s true. You can’t just go out there and ad-lib. Ask!

“There’s latitude, of course, but those things and several other things? You gotta ask.”

Escobar would also say that, when it came down to changes, it was important to seek permission as “it’s not your show”.

The LWO would see a return in WWE, with Rey Mysterio, Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde and Zelina Vega making up the new iteration, along with honorary members like Savio Vega, Carlito and Bad Bunny at Backlash in Puerto Rico.

Escobar has previously discussed the new version of the LWO and what it means for him to be part of the group.

The LWO was originally formed in WCW in 1998 by Eddie Guerrero, and featured names such as Mysterio himself, Hector Garza and LA Park.
