Top WWE Star Admits Recent Schedule Is ‘Taking It’s Toll’ On Him Physically WWE

Since becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion at May 27’s Night of Champions, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins has prided himself on defending his championship as much as possible.

This has seen the Visionary regularly defend his championship on Raw, NXT, Premium Live Events and often on untelevised house show to.

However, this burden may be beginning to come at a cost on his health.

Speaking following a recent live event in Miami, Florida, Rollins revealed that fulfilling the goal of being a “fighting champion”, was beginning to wear him down.

In a post-match promo to the Miami audience, Rollins said:

“Being a fighting champion is taking its toll on me.”

A clearly irked Rollins then went on to call out a fan in attendance who called him a “fake ass champion”.

Despite this particular fan’s opinion, the 37-year-old then declared that the fans deserve a champion such as himself – one who “sweats buckets” and “bleeds his own blood”.

While Rollins was defiant in his speech, he has raised some questions recently when discussing his own physical health.

Particularly on his recent appearance on Logan Paul’s imPAULsive podcast, during which Rollins revealed he had been working with a lower back injury since 2019, that he should “probably” get surgery on but has been trying to avoid doing so.
