WWE Faction ‘Not Confirmed’ To Be Reuniting WWE

A dominant WWE stable is ‘not confirmed’ to be reuniting on WWE television despite a number of teases on WWE Raw.

The Hurt Business certainly made their presence felt on WWE Raw through 2020 and into 2021, with Bobby Lashley as WWE United States Champion, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin as Raw Tag Team Champions and MVP as the force behind the stable.

With MVP trying to recruit Lashley, the January 16 episode of WWE Raw would also see the former Hurt Business manager interfering in a match between Alexander & Benjamin against The Street Profits) as well as getting involved in Lashley’s business alongside Omos to help his former stablemate secure a shot at the WWE United States Championship.

Now, Shelton Benjamin has addressed the status of the stable, quashing the idea that the Hurt Business may reform soon.

Appearing on WWE The Bump, Benjamin was asked about the rumor, saying:

“If you ask MVP, maybe. If you ask me and Cedric, we still got some kinks to work out before we can commit to that.

“Obviously Bobby’s got some things going on of his own, so there’s a lot of moving parts.

“Are we interested? Of course. We’re businessmen. We’re listening.

“But at this point, I can’t confirm that the Hurt Business is gonna get back together.”

The January 16 edition of WWE Raw set the record for the highest-grossing episode in Cincinnati, Ohio.

It set up matches for the upcoming WWE Raw 30th Anniversary episode, taking place on January 23.
