As per a new report, a WWE show has entered an apparent “new era” following a number of changes having been made in recent times.
The show in question is 205 Live, which somehow still exists despite seemingly being at death’s door multiple times over the past couple of years.
PWInsider reports that last night’s episode was the start of this “new era”. The show is now being taped in the Capitol Wrestling Center along with NXT on Wednesdays and it’s now completely under the NXT umbrella.
NXT creative staff are now in control of the show and directing all aspects of it, while Dewey Foley is still the lead writer.
We’ve seen this coming into play on NXT with the likes of Ashante Adonis getting involved during the Cruiserweight Title match at TakeOver as a crossover between the two shows.
Last night’s episode saw Ariya Daivari beat newcomers Anthony Greene and Curt Stallion in consecutive singles matches in his “Daivari Dinero” series where he offers a cash reward for anyone who can beat him. In the main event, Isaiah Scott beat Brian Kendrick.
