WWE
There has been an update on the status of a WWE star who has been absent from WWE television for five months.
Former Raw Women’s Champion Nikki Cross has not appeared on WWE television for the entirety of 2024, with her last match on television being a Women’s World Championship number one contender’s Battle Royal back in November.
Nikki had been undergoing a character change on the show prior to the appearance, with her slowly returning to her old ‘crazy’ gimmick, where she would blankly stare out into the crowd.
Nikki is not advertised for the Battle Royal on tonight’s episode of Raw to crown the winner of the vacant Women’s World Championship, which has led to some speculation about her absence and status with the company.
Per PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingNewsCo), Nikki has regularly been at WWE television tapings recently, though she hasn’t been used on the TV show of late.
Nikki won the Raw Women’s Championship as Nikki A.S.H back in 2021, cashing in her Money In The Bank briefcase on Charlotte Flair.
