WWE star Bronson Reed has teased a potential free agent target in top NJPW star and former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada.
It was recently reported that WWE had ‘renewed interest’ in potentially signing NJPW’s top star Kazuchika Okada, with Shinsuke Nakamura’s recent push on Raw even being used as evidence of WWE attempting to secure the Rainmaker.
On December 4, Sports Illustrated reported that Okada is about to become a free agent when his contract expires at the end of January 2024.
While a new contract with NJPW would usually be underway, Okada is said to be ‘seriously entertaining’ the possibility of wrestling for a different promotion.
Following this news, WWE star Bronson Reed took to social media to post a photo from his previous meeting with “The Rainmaker” in NJPW last year.
It remains to be seen where Okada will wind up signing once his NJPW contract expires at the time of this writing.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Kazuchika Okada’s free agency status when they become available.
