The free agent brother of a current WWE star was spotted backstage at last night’s episode of SmackDown in Dallas.
SmackDown announcer Corey Graves has been a part of WWE’s commentary team since 2014, when his in-ring career came to an end after a series of concussions.
Graves isn’t the only wrestler in his family however, as his brother Sam Adonis himself wrestles in Mexico for AAA.
Adonis is currently working in AAA without a contract, making him a free agent and able to sign wherever he wishes.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Adonis was backstage at last night’s SmackDown show in Dallas.
The show saw the official confirmation of the WrestleMania 40 night one main event, with Roman Reigns teaming with The Rock against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.
Corey recently became the lead play by play announcer on SmackDown, with Wade Barrett providing colour commentary, after years of Graves serving primarily in the colour role.
Barrett was moved from Raw to SmackDown due to the return of Pat McAfee, who now accompanies Michael Cole on Raw on Monday nights.
