WWE Star Discusses Hoping To Get A Spot On WrestleMania 40 WWE

WWE star and former Raw Tag Team Champion Omos has discussed hoping to get a spot on WrestleMania 40 this April.

Omos doesn’t wrestle frequently on WWE TV, but he has found a prominent spot on the WrestleMania cards in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

At WrestleMania 37, Omos teamed with AJ Styles to win the Raw Tag Team Titles. Then at WrestleMania 38, he faced Bobby Lashley, and finally faced Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39.

Appearing on the Battleground podcast, Omos was asked about his goals for 2024 and stated that he is hopeful to be featured on the Mania card. He replied:

“Yeah, I think obviously, the one coming up is the big Super Bowl of WWE.”

“So hopefully I get to have a match at WrestleMania. That is always my goal every year to be on that card.”

“Because no WrestleMania is a dream for some but man, it’s an honor for me whenever I get to be out there, you know, be with the fans and just absorb the atmosphere of about 80,000-100,000 people, there’s nothing like that. It’s always my biggest goal every year, absolutely.”

When asked if he has any specific plans for his WrestleMania match, Omos replied:

“I have been working, man. I’m excited but I’ve been working. We work every day, man.”

On needing another match with Bobby Lashley, Omos said:

“Hey, man. I would love that rematch. I need my rematch, Bobby.”

In recent months, Omos has primarily been working the house show circuit.

However, the former champion recently appeared in the Women’s Royal Rumble last month.
