WWE Star Reveals Future After Teammates Leave The Company

The next move for WWE NXT star Joe Gacy has been set up now that the Schism faction has completely disbanded.

With The Dyad having left WWE to reintroduce themselves to indie wrestling as the Grizzled Young Veterans, that left only Joe Gacy and Ava from the group in NXT.

However, the last time we saw Ava – The Rock’s real-life daughter – she was having an intriguing-looking conversation with Paul Heyman seemingly about the Bloodline, and she hasn’t been on NXT since.

And then there’s Gacy, the leader of Schism, who now looks set to go back to being a lone wolf for the first time in about two years.

A video promo aired from Gacy on last night’s NXT Halloween Havoc Night 2 show, during which he said the following:

“I’ve made mistakes. I’ve done a lot of unspeakable things. I’ve enjoyed watching people suffer, and I’ve seen horrors… I like it. I like it because I understand it, I had to go through my own pain and suffering just to get me where I am today.

“And I’m not justifying my actions, I’m just telling you. I mean, I’m only human, right? I’ve made mistakes just like anybody else, nobody’s perfect. But still… still…. peers, friends, strangers all stab me with their judgmental eyes day after day.

“I mean, is it me? Am I the problem? I’m not asking for forgiveness. I know there’s a darkness inside of me built because of my past.

“Once upon a time I was tethered to society, binded by the people around me, but now… now there’s no strings on me, and maybe you’re the kind of person that believes in fairytales, but then again, maybe you’re not.”

There’s no upcoming match or anything concrete announced for Gacy, but he does look to be staying in NXT, and will apparently be going things alone.
