Becky Lynch currently reigns as the NXT Women’s Champion, where she hopes to use her title run to spotlight younger and lesser featured WWE stars.
Becky is set to defend the title against Tegan Nox on tonight’s (October 9) episode of Raw, with the winner set to face Lyra Valkyria for the gold at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 24.
One other NXT star who has her eyes on Becky is Gigi Dolin, who discussed a potential match with Becky on Drinking With Johnny.
However, Becky isn’t the only women’s champion Gigi has her eyes on, as she also said she hopes for a hardcore match against Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.
She said:
“I don’t know (when I’ll get in the ring with Becky Lynch). She mentioned me on Tuesday night so… She mentioned a lot of girls Tuesday night so who knows? But, yeah, I don’t know. That’s definitely somebody I’ve never been in the ring with and obviously, I would love that match.
“There’s so many women right now that I have never even touched in the ring and I just really want that opportunity. Rhea Ripley is another one that — I would love to have a match with Rhea Ripley. She brings a whole different kind of energy that’s just insane… I want some kind of Cage match though. I want something hardcore.”
