WWE Star Discusses Wanting To Be A Big Name Like Cody Rhodes & CM Punk WWE

WWE star and former NXT Tag Team Champion Julius Creed has discussed wanting to be a big name like Cody Rhodes and CM Punk.

In the fall of 2023, former NXT Tag Team Champions The Creed Brothers made their debut on Monday Night Raw.

The duo quickly became fast rising stars with victories over Imperium, New Day and DIY, which led to them getting a shot at The Judgment Day’s Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.

Despite coming up short, Julius and Brutus Creed are still viewed as a tag team to watch and future champions in WWE.

During WWE Royal Rumble media day, Denise Salcedo spoke with Julius Creed and asked him how his experience on the main roster is going so far.

“It’s crazy right? There’s time that it doesn’t feel real. There’s times maybe you want more, but overall it’d be like, ‘getting in a washing machine and just getting tumbled around and getting spit out on the other side’ and you’re like, ‘is this real life? Is it not real life? Am I living a dream? If it’s a dream, I’ve got a long ways to go.'”

“So I think the best way to describe it right now honestly is happy, but not content. We’re very happy with where we’re at. Life’s going good.”

“Growing up, Florida was a place where the rich people lived or people vacationed. Swimming pool was the best part about traveling and going to a hotel. And pro wrestling was something we watched on the TV.”

“I wake up every single day, I live in Florida, I got a swimming pool in my backyard and I’m a pro wrestler on TV for a living.”

“So I’m very, very happy about those things, but I also take a look at Judgment Day with unified titles, Cody Rhodes on 2K cover, Jey Uso, CM Punk as top merchandise sellers.”

“And I realize we also got a long ways to go, so we’re very happy, but we’re not content. We’re gonna get that last little bit and get up with those guys and be big names like them soon.”

Julius Creed could potentially compete in this Saturday’s 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match, but he has not been announced or confirmed.
