WWE star and former TNA Knockouts World Champion Naomi has commented on the TNA President Scott D’Amore’s firing.
On February 7, TNA Wrestling and Anthem announced that TNA President Scott D’Amore’s contract had been terminated. The company has appointed Anthony Cicione as the new President of TNA Wrestling.
TNA, then known as IMPACT Wrestling, signed Trinity Fatu in April 2023. The former WWE star went on to become TNA Knockouts World Champion until she lost to Jordynne Grace at TNA Hard To Kill.
At WWE Royal Rumble 2024, Naomi made her return to the company for the first time since May 2022 as #2 in the Women’s Rumble.
Following the news of Scott D’Amore’s exit from TNA Wrestling, Naomi took to social media to show her support for D’Amore. She wrote:
We don’t play about @ScottDAmore! Ok bye
Naomi officially signed with the SmackDown brand on the February 2 episode.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Scott D’Amore’s departure from TNA Wrestling when they become available.
