WWE Star Addresses TV Absence After Only 2 Matches In 9 Months WWE

WWE star and former Raw Tag Team Champion Omos has addressed his TV absence after only 2 televised matches in 9 months.

At WWE Royal Rumble 2024, Omos made his return in the Men’s Rumble to have his first televised match since SummerSlam 2023. After facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39, “The Nigerian Giant” only appeared on two other premium live events the rest of 2023.

Speaking to SEScoops during a Royal Rumble media event, Omos discussed his past WrestleMania experiences. He said:

“To be honest, WrestleMania literally changed my life. I made my debut at WrestleMania. You know, with AJ Styles and the tag team titles, I will never forget it for the rest of my life, like that is in my brain.

“Although I didn’t know I would be booked, the next year against Bobby Lashley in Dallas was tremendous, just me on my own, which I think was my 3rd year in the business to then do it with Brock, that was just every year it just keeps going higher and higher.

“To me, WrestleMania holds a special place in my heart.”

When asking about his absence from WWE TV, Omos answered:

“You know, I’m an attraction, they call me when they need to make the big bucks, that’s when they call me when they need me.

“When they wanna see me on TV, man, cash those checks when you see me on TV.”

Despite his lack of televised appearances, Omos has been pretty active wrestling on WWE live events.
