Returning star and former three-time WWE Champion Sheamus has revealed original return plans in a response on social media.
On the April 15 edition of WWE Raw, Sheamus made his return to the company for the first time since August 2023 when he defeated Ivar in singles action.
Following his return, the former multi-time world champion received some harsh criticism on his physique from fans on social media.
On April 18, Sheamus took to social media to comment on the criticism and seemingly reveal his original return plans. He wrote:
Ok Ok take your best shots.. Whalemus, Too Many Pies, etc.. and then we’re done with the photoshopping & shaming. I was aiming for the Draft & got an early call-up. My bad. On me. Been sleeping in the gym ever since SO watch this space i appreciate the love too #Sheamoose
As previously reported, Sheamus recently revealed that he was nearly forced to retire from in-ring action just two months ago.
The WWE names who were behind helping Sheamus prepare for his in-ring return were revealed, which you can read here.
