WWE Star Possibly Injured During Raw Tapings

It has been reported by Fightful Select (subscription required) that Kairi Sane may have been injured during today’s Raw tapings.

The report states that she was wrestling a match with Nia Jax. Sane suffered a cut on her head, resulting in the match being stopped. She was attended to and the match restarted and they went straight to the finish. The cut occurred when Sane was thrown into the ring steps and her head hit the corner.

Sane was reportedly okay afterwards and was insistent she finish the match. The stoppage and the blood will likely be edited out of the show when it airs but we will have to wait and see to know for sure.

Jax won a number one contender’s triple threat match last night on Monday Night Raw, defeating Charlotte Flair and Natalya. She will face Kairi Sane’s Kabuki Warriors partner Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship at the Backlash pay per view.
