Injured star and former multi-time WWE World Champion Sheamus says he made Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER revelant.
On the February 5 edition of WWE Raw, GUNTHER celebrated 600 days as Intercontinental Champion alongside Imperium. “The Ring General” was interrupted by Jey Uso, who made his intentions known that he wanted a shot at the GUNTHER’s title.
On February 6, GUNTHER took to social media to post a clip of his 600 day celebration. One of GUNTHER’s rivals, Sheamus replied in response, saying:
Congrats fella!! i made you relevant.
GUNTHER defeated Sheamus to retain the Intercontinental Championship in a critically acclaimed bout at WWE Clash At The Castle 2022.
The two men went on to have another singles bout on SmackDown. Then, GUNTHER and Sheamus were joined by Drew McIntyre for another critically acclaimed bout at WrestleMania 39.
Sheamus has been out of action since suffering an injury in August 2023. It remains to be seen when he will make his return.
