Top WWE Star Says Current Stable Unlocked A New Side Of Him

A former WWE Champion has spoken about his work in his new faction, and how it’s helped unlock a new side of him.

Bobby Lashley formed a new faction alongside the Street Profits on SmackDown last Summer, with the trio now locked into a rivalry with Karrion Kross’ Final Testament.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Lashley discussed his work with the Street Profits in recent months, noting that they’ve helped unlock a new side of the All Mighty.

He said:

“I love working with those guys. We had the opportunity to do some live events, and during the live events, I really saw a different side of myself, because with those guys they’re so lively.

“My entire I did ‘grrr. smash. mean.’, but when I started getting around those guys, there’s a different side of wrestling here. There’s the side of like entertainment, of just fun, and when I started working with those guys I was like ‘you know what, I feel good’.

“I kind of brought them onto my side of ‘hey you guys need to get tougher, you guys need to get harder, start beating people up’, which they need and everybody needs in this business, but at the same time, we’re living a dream, and we’ve got to take that into consideration and have fun with what we’re doing.

“That’s the one thing that I’ve been doing when I’m around them. If you ever see us at a live event they’ll say ‘you know what, those guys are having fun’, because we know what we’re capable of doing, there’s no question how good we are, I have no qualms about what I’m able to do, I have no doubt what I’m capable of doing, but in this stage of my career I still want to win those titles, I still want that world championship, which I have all the ability to do, but I want to have fun while doing it.”
