WWE Star SURGERY Update

WWE Star SURGERY Update

WWE‘s Sami Zayn took to Twitter, updating his 1.07 million followers following his second surgery.

Zayn was last seen in the WWE facing Bobby Lashley at Money in the Bank. After the event, it was Kevin Owens who first revealed that Zayn was injured. Sami later confirmed that both his rotator cuffs were torn, and they would require surgery.

This is not Zayn’s first shoulder injury, originally injuring himself in his Raw debut against John Cena and then again, a year ago, against Jinder Mahal.

In an interview with WWE.com, Zayn said the following about injuries:

“There’s never a good time to get hurt or get surgeries, but I do feel like I was starting to hit my stride and find my voice and find myself as a performer.”

Happily, while recovering from the bi-lateral rotator cuff surgery, Zayn mentions he’s not taking painkillers and is “feeling shockingly great.” This is in contrast to his first surgery. While recovering from the initial operation he said in an interview with WWE:

“I’m in a considerable amount of pain right now, but it’s okay. The first three days, if I remember from my last surgery, are pretty bad, but then after that it’s pretty manageable. It’s just a really slow healing process.”

We at WrestleTalk would like to wish Sami a speedy recovery.
