WWE Star To Make ‘Very Important Announcement’

A WWE star has teased a “very important announcement” on tonight’s August 15 NXT via social media.

Taking to Twitter, Mustafa Ali made clear that he has meaningful his intentions for the show, writing:

Please join me tomorrow night on #WWENXT for a very important announcement.

Ali has cut a frustrated figure on NXT TV as he pursues another shot at Dominik Mysterio’s North American Championship.

However, after falling short in a three-way title match at July 30’s Great American Bash also involving Wes Lee, Ali scored a win over Axiom last week (August 8).

With ‘Dirty’ Dom also successfully defending his title against Dragon Lee on the same show, one would expect Ali to perhaps be next in line for another crack at winning his first piece of gold of his WWE career.

Whether this announcement pertains to his title ambitions or not remains to be seen, although its worth noting as of right now Dom does not have a scheduled opponent for the upcoming NXT Heatwave special on August 22.

A new number one contender for Carmelo Hayes’ NXT Championship will be determined on this week’s show in a match between Wes Lee and Dijak.
