Several WWE stars have been praised for their work in helping The Rock ahead of his in-ring return at WrestleMania 40.
The Rock took part in his first official WWE match in eleven years in the main event of WrestleMania 40 night one, where he teamed with Roman Reigns to face Cody Rhodes and Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.
Ahead of the show, it was reported that former NXT Tag Team Champions Wolfgang and Mark Coffey, as well as Joe Coffey, of Gallus helped train The Rock ahead of his return, along with Bobby Roode and Carmelo Hayes.
Roode also served as the co-producer for Rock’s main event match along with Michael Hayes, with the pair also serving as the producers for the night two main event between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), WWE were said to be very happy with Hayes, Roode and Gallus’ help in preparing Rock for his return to the ring.
