WWE Stars’ WhatsApp Group Name Leaked

WWE Stars’ WhatsApp Group Name Leaked WWE/WhatsApp

If you’ve ever wondered whether a certain group of WWE stars have a WhatsApp group chat, and if you’ve ever wondered what that group chat is called, today’s your lucky day.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler are set for a big title unification match against NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn on the June 23 episode of SmackDown.

Scottish newspaper The Sunday Post has a new article out with Fyre and Dawn, who are of course both Scottish, interviewing them about representing their country in WWE.

A little tidbit from the article was the line: “There are now so many Scots wrestling for WWE that they’ve got their own WhatsApp group chat – with the Braveheart-inspired name ‘Freedom’.”

Speaking about the relationships between the various Scottish talents in WWE, Dawn said:

“We weren’t all best mates and hung out all the time, but we all really supported each other and we would give feedback to each other constantly.

“We’re like a wee gang that push each other to be better. I’ve come back from a match and the Scottish boys have said ‘ah that wasn’t your best’ and they’ll give you the hard truth and it makes me better.

“We’ve got a wee community supporting each other, and now we’re all in America, having fun!”

While not all confirmed to be part of said group chat, the current Scottish talents in WWE are:

Drew McIntyre

Nikki Cross

Piper Niven

NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn

NXT Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar

Gallus (Joe Coffey & NXT Tag Team Champions Mark Coffey & Wolfgang)

WWE of course makes its return to the UK for the June 30 episode of SmackDown and the July 1 Money in the Bank event, both in London, England.
