Top WWE Star Addresses New Tag Team

WWE star Drew McIntyre has now addressed his new partnership with Matt Riddle following this week’s (August 14) edition of Raw.

During the show, it was revealed that Riddle had approached McIntyre to pitch the idea of the two of them joining forces.

McIntyre ultimately accepted Riddle’s proposition and the duo went on to defeat the Viking Raiders in tag-team action.

Wade Barrett and Michael Cole both made jokes about the tandem’s potential name on commentary during this bout.

McIntyre has now turned to the fans for suggestions, tweeting:

Matt Riddle appears to have long-term plans for this team, with the popular star predicting that he and McIntyre will eventually win the WWE Tag Team Champion.

This caught the attention of Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, who issued a challenge to McIntyre and Riddle for a tag bout on next week’s (August 21) show.
