On tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, a recently reunited tag team has revealed their brand new team name.
In a backstage segment on tonight’s WWE SmackDown, the reunited pair of Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne revealed a new name.before they challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
During an interview, Tyler Bate said that since the reunited pair had come back together for a fresh start, they deserved to also get a brand new name.
Bate stated he had been thinking of ideas and floated the moniker ‘New Catch Republic’, and Dunne looked content with the choice.
The New Catch Republic’s interview however was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio who was walking by.
The segment hilariously ended with Dunne telling Mysterio, ‘Do one, Muppet’ as the Judgment Day member stomped away.
New Catch Republic recently earned a Tag Team Championship match against Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest at Elimination Chamber in Perth, Western Australia on February 24.
