Trick Williams Picks Up Major WWE Win

Trick Williams captured victory in the second ever Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match on tonight’s WWE NXT Deadline (December 9).

In the Iron Survivor Challenge match, Trick Williams had to take on and overcome Tyler Bate, Bron Breakker, Josh Briggs and Dijak in order to earn the future title shot.

The match was an exciting affair with numerous pinfalls throughout as well as notable spots including a brawl within the penalty box spilling out, leading to Williams dropping a big splash off the top rope on all of his opponents below.

Also in an impressive entrance to the match, Bron Breakker picked up three pinfalls and thusly packed that penalty box full of opponents before the brawl broke out.

Williams was actually on zero falls with several others on three, but in the last few moments managed to turn it all around and ended up with four.

He’ll now challenge for the NXT Championship at WWE NXT New Year’s Evil.

Elsewhere in the show, the women’s version of the Iron Survivor Challenge was won by Blair Davenport who immediately challenged NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria to the title bout at New Year’s Evil.
