The Vaudevillians are coming back this September, but it’s not to WWE as they’ll be appearing at an independent event in New York.
Formerly known to WWE fans as Aiden English and Simon Gotch, The Vaudevillians made their NXT debut in June 2014 going on to become NXT Tag Team Champions.
Their main roster call-up would take place in 2016 with the pair being drafted to WWE SmackDown only for Gotch to be released shortly after WrestleMania 33 in April 2017.
English would continue with the company, tagging with Rusev (now Miro in AEW) before joining the commentary team for 205 Live in 2019.
He would be released on April 15, 2020, as part of a round COVID-19 related budget cuts, going on to be an announcer for IMPACT Wrestling.
Under his real name of Matt Rehwoldt, he recently announced that he was planning to return to the ring, with Gotch confirming that the pair would be taking bookings as a team once again.
And, that brings us to the return of The Vaudevillians for the first time in six years at House of Glory Wrestling.
On Friday, September 15, 2023, Simon Gotch and Matthew Rehwoldt make their HOG debut at FALLOUT.
The show takes place at NYC Arena 9112 144th Place, Jamaica, New York, and will also feature El Hijo Del Vikingo on the card.
