Ilja Dragunov has now commented on his brutal match at NXT Battleground 2023, following NXT praising him as a warrior.

During the May 28 show, Dragunov fought Dijak in a violent Last Man Standing match. Dragunov was ultimately victorious, after delivering a huge flying forearm to the back of Dijak’s neck.

Following the bout, Dragunov took to social media to share a photo of the brutal aftermath of the bout, which you can see below.

Dragunov captioned the photo:

 I am pain.

Dragunov vs Dijak was the only non-title match of the night, with every other NXT Battleground match for a championship.

A new NXT Women’s Champion was crowned, with Tiffany Stratton defeating Lyra Valkyria to win the vacant gold.
