A new report has revealed a potential big change considered for next year’s WWE WrestleMania 41 premium live events.
WWE is still coming off the heels of what is being billed and promoted as the biggest WrestleMania of all time with the 40th iteration from Philadelphia.
The show saw Cody Rhodes defeating Roman Reigns to finally end his story, ending Roman’s 1316 day reign and winning the Undisputed WWE Championship. Now, many fans are looking towards the location and date for WrestleMania 41 since the company has not announced the host city yet.
In a recent interview, Nick Khan noted he didn’t plan to go head-to-head with the NCAA Final Four.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that Khan’s statement about not going against the Final Four has led some to believe WrestleMania 41 could return to March where 15 events have taken place in the past.
However, there is also the possibility of WrestleMania happening in May has been discussed as well.
A May date for Mania would be a major change for the event as it would be the first time and would cause a shift in the WWE’s premium live event calendar.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on WrestleMania 41 details when they become available.
