WWE Wrestlers Believe Triple H Currently Controls ‘99.9%’ Of Creative WWE

Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque took over as the head of WWE creative last July, when Vince McMahon stepped down from the role amid the investigations into allegations made against him by the Wall Street Journal.

Since Triple H took over creative, talent morale has increased in the company, with many former stars being re-signed to the company, as well as newer faces being spotlighted on the shows.

McMahon returned to the company back in January to orchestrate a sale, which ended up resulting in the Endeavor takeover and UFC merger to form the TKO Group.

Following the takeover, McMahon was believed to be sending over changes to the shows remotely, with tweaks being made from Triple H’s original show plans, but that may now be a thing of the past.

Per PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingNews.co), the atmosphere backstage in the company over the last several weeks has been ‘through the roof’, with no underlying passive aggressive conflicts that anyone is talking about, or wrestlers pissed at each other.

The morale is said to have been ‘very peaceful and excited’ across the board, with a lot of people giving others ideas.

One of the rumours as to why the morale has been so improved, is a belief among wrestlers and those within the company that Triple H has pretty much been ‘knighted’ by Endeavor, and is going to be the one driving ‘99.9%’ of the creative going forward, and not Vince McMahon.

The report notes that there will likely be points where Vince will give his thoughts, and they’ll go with what he wants, but in the weeds, week to week, the belief is that Triple H is the one driving the ship creatively right now.

It’s very important to make clear that PWInsider isn’t reporting anything regarding McMahon’s lack of involvement as a fact, just that it’s what some talents believe is the case.
