WWE Star Describes Suffering A Serious Injury WWE

A WWE star has described recovery from a serious injury.

In May, Zoey Stark was drafted to the Monday Night Raw brand after two years on NXT. She was a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion on the developmental brand.

In the summer of 2022, Stark returned to the NXT brand after being sidelined in October 2021 with an ACL and meniscus tear at NXT Halloween Havoc 2021.

Since returning, Zoey has wore knee braces, which has become a signature part of her in-ring look.

Speaking with WWE Die Woche, Stark described how she suffered the injury and her recovery back. She said:

“So, I was climbing up a ladder and Persia (Steph De Lander) pushed the ladder and I was supposed to jump from the ladder to then springboard and then dive on a group of girls.”

“So all of that happened but I made the mistake of landing on my feet and when that happened, my knee blew out. I tore my ACL, MCL, PCL, the whole thing. I really don’t even have the meniscus anymore in my left knee.”

“Yeah, yeah (that’s the reason I still wear a knee brace). Mentally, I just still need that knee brace. It makes me feel a lot better knowing that there’s something there protecting it.”

Zoey Stark is scheduled to compete in the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match, which will also include Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus, Bayley, IYO SKY and Zelina Vega at the titular event.
