Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton Hype

We got two video packages to hype the Hell in a Cell match between Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy, the first of which focused on Hardy’s daredevil nature and how he has sacrificed his body for the fans. The second video focused on Orton’s sadistic attitude and how he’s been unleashed in multiple Hell in a Cell matches – mostly against John Cena. These were both good promos, made better by the awesome video production.

Samoa Joe’s Promo For Oooh Wendy

Samoa Joe came down to cut a promo on AJ Styles aimed at his wife Ooh Wendy. This was, as always, an awesome promo by Joe, which was cut off by Styles who charged the ring for a fight – which was eventually broken up by referees and Paige. I wasn’t that into this feud in the lead up to Summerslam, but the intensity has really kicked up a gear and both guys are tremendous in their roles.

Rusev Day def. Sanity and The Usos

Rusev Day then defeated Sanity and The Usos in a triple threat match – and will face The Bar next week to crown new number one contenders to New Day. This was a really fun match with lots of chaotic blind tags and dives to the outside. The story however focused on Aiden English constantly saving Rusev and helping him land the Machka Kick on Young for the win. Still don’t know what to do with Sanity, eh Road Dogg.

Mixed Match Challenge Returns

It was announced that Mixed Match Challenge is coming back, presumably so no one can watch it again.
