According to a report from PWInsider, all of the trademarks associated with Matt Hardy’s “Broken Universe” have officially been transferred to Hardy himself, by Ed Nordholm, Executive Vice President of Anthem Sports (parent company of Impact Wrestling).
The agreement was apparently signed on January 8, with the transfer taking place on Wednesday, January 31. The trademarks transferred over to Hardy’s ownership include Broken Matt, Brother Nero, Broken Brilliance, Vanguard-1, and possibly others.
Impact Wrestling reportedly had until Sunday, January 28, to respond to a non-final refusal that was issued six months earlier on July 28, 2017. The transfer report states that Hardy “officially and legally” owns all trademarks within the Broken Universe realm.
