Jason Jordan’s participation in this year’s WrestleMania is in jeopardy after he underwent minimally invasive neck surgery today.
Jordan had been struggling with neck issues for weeks, leading to a reduced role at Royal Rumble last week and WWE removing him from the road earlier today.
A procedure called “minimally invasive posterior cervical microdiscectomy” was performed by WWE’s resident surgeon Dr. Joseph Maroon, which he noted was done to decompress the nerve in order to allow it to heal.
With the timetable for Jordan’s return unknown, there is a very real possibility that he could miss WrestleMania, a show where he was expected to have a featured role opposite Seth Rollins or onscreen father Kurt Angle.
Everyone here at WrestleTalk.com wishes Jordan a speedy recovery.
