WBTV/CBS Sports has reported an update on the saga of Jeff Hardy and his apparent drunk driving incident, which took place in March. According to reports, Jeff has pleaded guilty to driving while impaired.
Hardy was arrested in Concord, North Carolina after skidding off the road into a guardrail. He subsequently blew a .25 blood-alcohol level. Though Hardy escaped serious harm during the accident, he did cause an estimated $8,000 in damage to his Cadillac.

By pleading guilty, Hardy has been charged $300 in court fees and must complete 48 hours of community service. With his driver’s license now suspended, Jeff has also been ordered to participate in treatment classes.
Following the incident in Cabarrus County, things have gone well for the ‘charismatic enigma.’ He has scored big victories over both Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton and even became United States champion during WWE’s most recent superstar shake-up.
It is unclear if Jeff’s sentencing will affect his booking or not. Jeff has been viewed as a top guy and all indications are that WWE wants to continue to push him as such, despite what happened back in March.
