WWE.com has reported that Ruby Riott suffered an injury to her left knee during a house show event over the weekend. An MRI test has been conducted and we now await results concerning the severity of the wound.
Since being called up to the main roster during the Superstar Shake-Up, Ruby has impressed in singles action on both Raw and Smackdown Live. She currently heads the Riott Squad comprising of Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan.
This was confirmed by recent reports that Riott was on the verge of a major push into the WWE Raw Women’s Championship picture. According to the rumors, the ‘Punk Princess’ was scheduled to be “kept protected” as the promotion polished the “unique star.”
With any luck, the injury will not be severe and the leader of the Riott Squad will be back on her feet in no time to continue her rise within WWE.
WrestleTalk will keep you updated on this injury when more facts become available.
What do you think about Ruby Riott’s injury? Will a spell on the sidelines help to reinvigorate her character or will she get lost in the shuffle and the Raw Women’s division moves on without her?
