In a week where the first ever all-women’s WWE pay-per-view was announced, the number one contenders for both the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship were revealed and one of the biggest stars in wrestling history was fired, it’s fair to say it’s been an interesting few days when it comes to Vince McMahon’s promotion.
But never mind all that, you’re here to do one thing – look at some juicy viewership numbers. So let’s do just that, in this week’s WWE Raw and SmackDown Live TV ratings report.
Last week’s Raw clocked in at 2.866 million viewers, an increase on the all-time low of 2.47 million a week prior.
There were a few big promises advertised for Raw this week:
- Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley – WWE Universal Championship Number One Contender’s Match
- Stephanie McMahon’s “historic” announcement
- The B-Team (c) vs. The Deleters of Worlds – WWE Raw Tag Team Championships
This wasn’t enough to secure another increase, as viewership slipped to 2.779 million.
Here’s this week’s hourly breakdown:
- 8 pm hour – 2.817 million
- 9 pm hour – 2.821 million
- 10 pm hour + overrun – 2.701 million
