Tegan Nox suffered a serious injury at last night’s Mae Young Classic tapings. The plucky young competitor came down with a nasty knock to her left knee following a suicide dive to the arena floor during a Quarter-Final Match with Rhea Ripley.
Though the bout initially continued with fans behind the injured party all the way, Nox was said to be screaming in so much pain that she decided to throw up the ‘X’ signal herself, stopping the match. The most heartbreaking thing is that she was booked to win, continuing her underdog story into the Semi-Finals.

As Full Sail stood with applause, all reports state that she was in a great deal of pain and tears being carried from the ring. This is the second Mae Young Classic the Welsh star has had problems, missing last year’s with an ACL injury. She had only just returned to action in April of this year.
WrestleTalk will keep you updated on Tegan Nox’s injury and wish the star a speedy recovery.
