It was inevitable, wasn’t it? Like London buses, wins for Konnor of The Ascension came in twos. He followed up last week’s shock win over Chad Gable with a victory over former NXT and US champ Bobby Roode on Raw.
Konnor scored the win after shenanigans from Viktor took out Chad Gable, allowing him to hit the Dominator on Roode for the victory.
Wow.

In the next match, The Revival were rewarded for their excellent performance last week with a squash match win against The B-Team . . . only they lost it.
Yes, the team that Vince McMahon was supposedly so high on reverted back to their Monday night norm. It was as if last week had never happened.
AOP came out to batter B-Team after the match. For some reason.

Neither Konnor nor B-Team are involved in Super Showdown on Saturday, which makes the decision to use television time to put them over on the supercard go-home show all the more difficult to comprehend.
