He may be the monster among men, but that doesn’t mean Braun Strowman can’t be hurt now and then.
Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline and Wrestling Observer Radio (WOR) has noted that Strowman seems to be struggling with some kind of injury. Alvarez, who was at Monday’s Raw taping, noted how long and light Strowman’s match with Ambrose was.
On WOR, Alvarez noted that Braun seemed to be limping throughout the match, and taking fewer bumps that he normally would.
“Braun Strowman when he first came out, he’s moving like something is hurt. Like maybe his knee or something. He kinda half-ass limps down the ramp, he’s moving slow. Dean Ambrose gets in there and this is the lazy, doing nothing as slow as humanly possible Dean Ambrose. They just half-assed the entire match, the whole thing felt like it was during a commercial break.”
If this is the case and Strowman is indeed nursing some kind of injury, he’s picked a good time to do it. His match at Super ShowDown against the Shield is a six-man tag, meaning he can be protected if needs be, and will only have to jump in the ring for power spots.
Now that he’s part of the dogs of war faction, he may also be able to work a lighter schedule so he can recover from whatever ailment he might have.
