It’s official. AJ Styles will defend his WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan at WWE Crown Jewel after the two men won their respective matches at Super Showdown.
AJ managed to submit Samoa Joe in a vicious fight that was arguably the match of the night.
Bryan on the other hand, defeated Miz in about two minutes with a roll-up that left everyone confused. Was someone injured? Did they have to cut it short to allow for the main event?
Either way, it was a bit weird. Anyway, SmackDown Live general manager Paige then made the match official for WWE Crown Jewel.

This is arguably one of the biggest matches of the year. Ever since Bryan was cleared to return to the ring, this is the match we’ve wanted to see at a PPV.
Two incredible in ring talents, battling for the WWE Championship. Yummy.
