WWE already has one of the most talented rosters ever assembled yet today they officially welcomed seven more to the Performance Center in Florida.
The new faces are:
- Matt Riddle
- Mia Yim
- Chelsea Green
- Punishment Martinez
- Humberto Carrillo
- Daniel Vidot
- Jordan Omogbehin
These seven have wide ranging levels of experience, from indy darlings such as Riddle to newcomers to the wrestling business like Omogbehin.
Riddle’s reputation precedes him. The former UFC fighter and EVOLVE champion made his first WWE appearance in the crowd at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4.
Mia Yim has competed in the Mae Young Classic the last two years, and previously worked under the name Jade for Impact Wrestling.
Chelsea Green was known in Impact Wrestling as Laurel Van Ness and competed in the 2015 edition of Tough Enough. She also wrestled in the women’s match at All In.
Punishment Martinez spent three years in Ring of Honor, where he was recently the promotion’s Television Champion.
Humberto Carrillo is the WWE ring name for Mexican-born luchador Ultimo Ninja.
Vidot and Omogbehin are both newcomers to the wrestling business, but have backgrounds in other sports. Vidot is an Australian former international rugby player, while Omogbehin is a 7’3” former college basketball player.
