Kevin Owens underwent double knee surgery on Wednesday, and original estimates were that he may not be ready to return for eight months.
If this was the case, we wouldn’t have been expecting to see Owens back in the ring until June and Money in the Bank season, but there’s good news, everyone!
Dave Meltzer noted in his Wrestling Observer Newsletter that although the damage in Owens’ left knee was considerably worse than first thought, he is likely to be back on our screens some time in late February 2019.

In any case, he should be back to start some kind of feud heading into WrestleMania 35, which also means we’re getting more KO-Mania t-shirts.
Having said that, if he is cleared around that time, WWE have a tendency to hold off on bringing wrestlers back immediately, preferring to wait until the PPV itself or the show after to have a shock return.
The news is that Owens did not have to undergo reconstructive surgery, something that would have kept him out for much longer.
Get well soon Kev, I already miss you.
