Hours after I posted about John Cena making his return to WWE at the Madison Square Garden house show, big match John is going one better than that after it was announced that he’ll also be on next week’s SmackDown Live.
Appearing as Mr McMahon-ta Claus (I know), Vince McMahon promised several lovely presents for the WWE crowd in 2019. One of those was that Cena will be returning to both brands, although for how long, he did not say.
Cena’s MSG appearance was his first in ring for WWE since the Super Show-Down in October, a break fans will need to get used to as it looks like he is heading down the Hollywood actor route.
Wrestlingnews.co is reporting that Cena is set to start filming a new movie on January 20, which if true, could mean he won’t be around for very long.
What most fans are concerned about however is whether he’s going to keep the haircut that shocked the world at Super Show-Down, and the answer is yes.
It seems that to make it as a star, he needs to keep the hair, because having hair is a must if you’re playing a character with hair (some insider knowledge for you).
