Over the weekend, both Pentagon Jr and Fenix had their final match for MLW at their Come Hell or High Water show in Atlanta. During the show, Cody and the Young Bucks made a surprise appearance and Matt and Nick Jackson invited the Lucha Bros to join All Elite Wrestling.
It is expected that the pair will do just that, and will likely be appearing at the AEW Double or Nothing show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The Lucha Bros have been two of wrestling’s hottest independent stars, drawing interest from WWE and AEW.
MLW promoter Court Bauer tweeted confirmation of the news, thanking the pair for their contributions to the promotion:

Matt and Nick Jackson have called the Lucha Bros some of their greatest opponents so it is not surprising that AEW would want them. Pentagon competed against Kenny Omega in the semi-main event of ALL IN while Fenix teamed with Rey Mysterio and Bandido in the main event.
To date the only other tag team that is officially under contract with AEW is SoCal Uncensored. Bringing the Lucha Bros to AEW will undoubtedly allow the Young Bucks more options with their developing tag devision.
