Despite the recent reports of an ongoing back injury and WWE pulling him from house shows, it has been announced that Seth Rollins will appear on Raw this coming Monday.
It was Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer who first noted the ‘Kingslayer’s issues, though he did mention that there are no concerns that the WrestleMania match between Seth and Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is in doubt.
Rollins won the 2019 men’s Royal Rumble to earn his WrestleMania title shot and chose Lesnar on Raw the next night, before Brock laid Rollins out with six F-5s.
Neither man appeared on Raw last week, and if recent changes are anything to go by, Seth won’t be appearing on any house shows until April, as wwe.com had removed him from all live events until the April 1 episode of Raw.
However, shortly later, it was confirmed that he would be appearing on Raw this Monday to address Lesnar’s beatdown. It’s highly unlikely Brock will join him, as details of his schedule have also come to light.
Going by this, it’s pretty evident that it’s very much a ‘play it by ear’ situation as to when Seth is needed to progress his character and the program, but balancing that without putting him at physical risk.
