Ring of Honor has announced there will be a Six Man Tag Team Championship match at their upcoming TV tapings.
The Kingdom will defend their gold against the team of Villain Enterprises. This will be Marty Scurll, Brody King, and PCO’s first opportunity at the Six Man titles since their formation in December. The match will take place on March 16th, one day after the Ring of Honor 17th Anniversary show.
The Kingdom won the Six Man titles at Survival of the Fittest when they defeated then-champions Cody and the Young Bucks. They have only defended the titles once since then, defeating Dalton Castle and The Boys at Global Wars. Matt Taven will be competing for the ROH World Championship at the 17th Anniversary show the night prior.
Marty Scurll is still in possession of a ROH World Championship match after winning the Survival of the Fittest tournament last year. It would appear that Scurll is next in line for a shot at the title following the 17th Anniversary event, regardless of if his trio is able to capture the Six Man titles.
