SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Asuka has provided an update after injuring herself in a match with Mandy Rose at a SmackDown Live house show.
According to fans in attendance, Asuka landed awkwardly on her neck when taking Mandy Rose’s Double-hook Facebuster, and the match was stopped allowing her to be treated by doctors.

Thankfully, it looks like Asuka is going to be fine, tweeting the following in response to fans speculating about the severity of her injury.
I’m sorry for worrying you.

She is set to take on Rose once again at this weekend’s Fastlane show, so hopefully any injury she has will have cleared up by then. Who she is set to face (assuming she beats Rose) at WrestleMania is still unclear, but there has been talk of Lacey Evans getting a big push and possible ‘Mania title shot.
