During an interview with Gorilla Position, WWE wrestler and Hall of Famer Kurt Angle may have spoiled a WrestleMania surprise regarding John Cena.
After being asked about his thoughts on Cena being at WWE’s largest pay-per-view of the year, Angle shared that he wished his match would have been with Cena, since Kurt was there for the start of his career.
He then shared a shocking piece of information that potentially was not meant for the wrestling world to know:
“I love John, and I know that he will have a WrestleMania match. I’m not sure if they announced it yet, but I’m almost positive he’s gonna be there.”

John Cena has been working (very) part-time in WWE in recent years as he fulfills his ambitions of a career in film, and even publishing. He publicly announced an appearance in New York, taking place today, to promote his book, “Elbow Grease” with a signing.
The last time Cena showed up on WWE television was in January, on Monday Night RAW. Since then, many rumors have stirred about who his opponent would be for WrestleMania. Rumored opponents for him have included Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, Elias, and Lars Sullivan (who has yet to make his main roster debut), but nothing has been announced publicly just yet.
