Very soon after the launch of the WWE Network, former World Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin began hosting his ‘Stone Cold’ podcast on the platform.
Some of his notable guests included Big Show, Shawn Michaels, Paul Heyman, Triple H, Vince McMahon and Dean Ambrose (now Jon Moxley).
Very quickly the interview between the WWE Hall of Famer and Moxley got awkward and the tension was clear for all to see. The interview seemed to go downhill when the then-WWE Champion was questioned about his childhood.
Moxley explained to PWTorch‘s Wade Keller that he informed the producers of the interview that he did not want to be asked about his childhood, but they seemingly ignored his request.
On the topic of the interview, AEW’s newest signee had the following to say:
“Within five seconds, I’m getting these f***ing questions, I don’t remember what they were, and he said something that p****d me off and I just f***ing mentally shut down, and I love Steve. If that had have been a regular interview, I’d have hung up on them, but I was like, ‘I f***ing love Steve.’”
This is not the only interesting revelation Moxley made in his interview with Wade Keller following his AEW debut at Double or Nothing.
Moxley revealed that Brock Lesnar caused The Shield’s planned reunion for SummerSlam 2018 to be delayed, and also spoke about the issues he faced whilst working with the UFC Hall of Famer at WrestleMania 32.
